Quality accreditation
Undeterred commitment to global quality standards
We were ready for accreditation much before the formal accreditation agencies showed up. We always believed in following best practices, error free process and strict compliance to quality standards. the NABL accreditation was simply a validation of everything we were already doing.
Best practices is not an one time affair for purpose of getting some certification. For us, it is an ongoing obsession.

We have never been intimidated by use of technology. In fact, we have embraced it ahead of time and learnt immensely out of our early adoption. It has helped us gain competitive edge and inspired us to think of our future in a more tech enabled eco system. We have pioneered a few industry leading ideas. Some note worthy technology initiatives are listed below:
While bar coding of samples have become common practice across many labs today, Anand Lab was the first diagnostic lab in South India to introduce bar-code system for patient registration and labelling of samples, when many other labs were still hand writing their labels. We continue to invest in new bar code technology to keep up with the times.
First of its kind in Karnataka, Anand Lab has introduced automatic tube labelling system which allows bar coded labels to be printed and affixed on sample collecting tubes immediately upon registration. This allows for the lab technician to concentrate on drawing the sample, rather than sticking labels on the tubes, thus minimising errors, mix ups and inadvertent peeling of labels.
Anand Lab is the first diagnostic lab to introduce an indigenously designed conveyor belt system to transport samples from the sample collection station to the sample processing point. This has eliminated internal delay in sample movement and the need for staff to walk back and forth
Anand Lab is the first laboratory in India to provide automated report vending machine for customers to collect report anytime, beyond the lab’s working hours. They don’t have to queue up inside the lab to collect the reports. This report kiosk is very much like an ATM machines that people have got accustomed to.
Anand Lab is one of the early adopters to embrace online results reporting way back in 2003. Since that time our LIS software and results reporting systems have been continuously improved to deliver timely results in multiple ways. This initiative is currently in progress which will allow people to take a queue ticket and wait for their numbers to be called in the display system. This will ensure that customers are attended to in an orderly manner and they are attended to in order of arrival time.
